As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will support the recruitment efforts of our growing dental organization. Reporting to the Director of Talent Acquisition, this role focuses on sourcing, screening, and hiring top dental professionals including dental hygienists, dental assistants, and administrative staff to support the dental practice functions. The ideal candidate is passionate about creating an exceptional candidate experience and thrives in a fast-paced environment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Source  and build talent pipelines for clinical and administrative dental roles using job boards, social media, professional networks, and referrals.
  • Conduct initial candidate screenings to evaluate qualifications, experience, and  cultural fit.
  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for assigned dental roles, ensuring timely and effective hiring.
  • Partner with the Director of Talent Acquisition to identify high-priority hiring needs and develop tailored recruitment strategies.
  • Act as the first point of contact for candidates, delivering a professional and welcoming experience.
  • Coordinate  interviews and feedback sessions between candidates and hiring managers.
  • Keep candidates informed throughout the recruitment process to maintain engagement and transparency.
  • Develop compelling job postings and recruitment campaigns tailored to attract top talent.
  • Represent the organization at dental job fairs, networking events and as needed.
  • Maintain accurate candidate records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and ensure all data is up-to-date.
  • Generate regular reports on recruitment metrics such as time-to-fill, source effectiveness, and candidate pipeline status.

Collaboration:

  • Work  closely with hiring managers to understand the specific needs of dental practices, including required skills, certifications, and team dynamics.
  • Partner with the Director of Talent Acquisition and Operational leaders to implement recruitment initiatives and meet organizational staffing goals.
  • Coordinate  with internal teams to ensure compliance with dental industry regulations and licensure requirements.
Requirements

  

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s  degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field preferred but not required. Equivalent experience may be considered.
  • 2–4 years of recruitment or talent acquisition experience, ideally within the  dental or healthcare industry.
  • Experience recruiting for dental or multi site healthcare roles, such as dentists, hygienists, assistants, and  medical administrative positions, is strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with dental-specific recruitment platforms (e.g., DentalPost, DentalJobs, LinkedIn) and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport  with candidates and stakeholders.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple roles simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in sourcing techniques and recruitment technologies.
  • Analytical mindset with experience tracking and reporting recruitment metrics.
  • Knowledge of dental licensure, certifications, and industry trends is a plus.
