Job Summary

Provides internal support and partnership to Clinical Operations managers and employees to deliver required human resources support. Serves as administrator and front-line support for several critical human resources functions and workforce management, including recruiting, employee/labor relations, health and safety, compensation, benefits, training, diversity, employee engagement, leave and attendance tracking, payroll, and employee records. Facilitates and communicates organizational policies and programs and ensures labor law and regulatory compliance at the direction of HR (Total Rewards, Training, and Talent Acquisition) and Payroll support staff. Assists with investigations, corrective action, and other employee relations activities. Reports to Director of HR.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Communicates various Human Resources policies, procedures, standards and government laws/regulations as directed by the Director of HR or HR/Payroll support staff.
  • Assists with the implementation of Human Resources programs.
  • Supports hiring practices and procedures necessary to recruit and hire a superior workforce.
  • Addresses employee complaints or concerns, escalating to HR Business Partner, Director of HR, or HR/Payroll support staff as needed.
  • Investigates all manner of issues and promptly addresses them, seeking assistance as required, while balancing employee and business needs.
  • Helps ensure that employee activities align and integrate with LAC’s requirements for quality management, health and safety, and legal compliance.
  • Treats all information and data with confidentiality and security at all times.
  • Reports any suspected or potential violations to laws, regulations, procedures, policies and practices, and cooperates in related investigation.
  • Observes and complies with safety policies and emergency procedures. Helps ensure a safe environment to prevent occurrences of injuries and/or incidents, providing for the safety and security of staff.
  • Seeks to improve the employee experience.
  • Collaborates, build awareness, and drive adoption and advocacy for culture and employee experiences to further employer value proposition and DE&I efforts.


Requirements

Expected Areas of Competence

  • Knowledge of and some experience in managing human resource programs, processes, procedures while ensuring compliance with government laws/regulations as appropriate for the business location.
  • Understands the need to handle sensitive and confidential information/situations and documentation and complies with information security policies.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Possesses good interpersonal, listening and communication skills. Open to feedback and coaching.

  • Valid Driver’s License.
  • Ability to travel to Centers up to 25 – 30% of the time.

Education/Experience Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business or related field required
  • Requires- 3 years of related HR experience
  • Professional certification in HR such as PHR, SPHR, or PIRHA preferred
