Job Summary:
The Information Technology (IT) Systems Administrator at Hall of Fame Village, a subsidiary of the publicly traded Hall of Fame Resort & Entertainment Company (the “Company” / NASDAQ: HOFV, HOFVW), will be primarily responsible for implementing and managing internal office systems and providing desktop and SaaS application support. The role requires a high degree of self-management and drive, and comes with the potential for future management of team members.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Lead the design review, alignment, implementation, and security configuration of overall infrastructure.
- Implement and manage and implement domain policy, enforcement, and security of machines and services joined to domain/identity management platform.
- Manage backup technologies and services employed to maintain business continually across all user groups.
- Perform asset management of IT devices and End User machines.
- Establish ticketing system to accomplish timely and accountable desktop and application support, providing analytics on root causes and areas of improvement.
- Develop and expand Standard Operating Procedures, providing for the stewardship of policy and security practices.
- Specify and purchase all appropriate computing devices, aligning on spending requirements with the Finance team.
- Forecast replacement and maintenance needs and budgets.
- Dispose of electronic waste properly, including management of applicable contracts.
- Support the selection and implementation of new systems, which could include CRM and financial systems.
- Configure network equipment, as requested.
- All other duties as assigned.
FULL-TIME/SALARY/EXEMPT
Required Knowledge, Skills, & Desired Qualifications:
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Information Systems/Technology or a related field.
- Minimum of 5-7 years’ experience.
- Network experience highly desired.
- Experience configuring switches and firewalls required.
- Experience working with backup and disaster recovery tools, and in a SaaS environment
- Experience with Sharepoint administration, MDM deployment, and experience with cloud computing (Azure AD, Office 365, InTune) required.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Required to be able to communicate with employees, co-workers, volunteers, management staff and guests in a clear, business-like, and respectful manner which focuses on generating a positive, enthusiastic, and cooperative environment.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule (nights, weekends & holidays as necessary) is required.
- Must be a flexible and reliable team player, both within own department and entire organization.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining a high level of performance, working quickly without compromising quality.
- Must have the ability to demonstrate uncompromised judgment and discretion regarding confidential matters while maintaining confidentiality.
Physical Requirements for Position:
- The ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
- The ability to work in various Ohio weather conditions, inside and outside.
- The ability to work with hot, cold, and hazardous equipment as well as operate phones, computers, copiers/scanners, and other office equipment.
- The ability to move safely over uneven terrain, steps, or in construction zones.
- The ability to see and respond to hazardous situations.
- The ability to sit, stand, squat, bend, stoop, twist, walk, and complete repetitive hand and write motions for periods of time as required for the position.
- Must be able to hear, see, and speak.
- Ability to comprehend instructions and retain information.
- Must have manual dexterity necessary to complete all job duties.
- Must be available to work in Canton, Ohio.
