Summary

The Regional Marketing Liaison for IBJI will manage the marketing budget, referral program, and community outreach. Ideal for a personable candidate passionate about patient care, this role involves implementing local marketing strategies, promoting physicians, and increasing patient volume. The Liaison will visit physician offices, support sponsorship events, and also assist with marketing efforts in the northern suburbs (Lake County), building strong ties with internal staff and community partners.


Responsibilities

  • The Regional Marketing Liaison is responsible for increasing patient referrals through community outreach to referring physicians, employers and patients. The liaison’s role with referring physicians will be of a collaborative nature.
  • Meet regularly with the staff and physicians of our top referring groups to inform them of new services, new physicians, heighten their awareness of existing services, brand awareness and collaborate on ways that IBJI can more effectively serve the referrers.
  • The first 90 days of this role will require being in the clinic 5 days a week to establish and cultivate key relationships. This in-person interaction is essential for building trust and laying the foundation for long-term success in the role.
  • Requires attending a monthly meeting at our corporate offices located in Des Plaines.
  • Outreach to our patient community to attend health fairs, conferences, industry events and other events where IBJI can reach potential patients, strengthen our brand awareness and increase referring sources.
  • The Regional Marketing Liaison will also act as a resource for troubleshooting issues that may arise.
  • The goal will be to establish a strong, collaborative relationship which serves both parties and ensures continuity of referrals.
  • The Regional Marketing Liaison will actively seek to engage physicians in our community who do not refer to IBJI consistently or who are new to the area to increase appointment volume. The goal will be to establish relationships and provide customer service which will convert these providers into referrers.
  • The Regional Marketing Liaison will also play an important role in driving Work Comp referrals. They will systematically reach out to local employers to make them aware of our range of services. The Liaison will also seek to engage larger employers in a meeting with the Work Comp Manager to establish a more formalized working relationship.
  • Manage the local marketing budget with a focus on driving results.
  • Stay informed on healthcare industry best practices to develop effective strategies aimed at increasing appointment volume.
  • Responsible for marketing posters and in room exam collateral being updated quarterly.
  • The Regional Marketing Liaison will utilize a tracking system to record their activities, contacts and results. The Liaison will also engage our physicians as much as possible by sharing feedback and creating opportunities for them to interact with referring sources.

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in marketing, business, communications, or related field

Base salary offers for this position may vary based on factors such as location, skills and relevant experience.
