Trax is currently recruiting for a Sr. HR Generalist to join our Human Resources team. This position will be integral in the growth of Trax and will support our global expansion efforts domestically and abroad. Additionally, the Sr. Generalist will take on the daily operational duties of the department including, payroll processing, new hire onboarding, HRIS administration, full recruitment lifecycle as well as support or assist in other HR initiatives.
The Sr. HR Generalist at Trax will maintain a high degree of professionalism, must be willing to help employees on a daily basis and be enthusiastic about positively impacting the employee experience.
- Recruits, interviews, and facilitates hire of qualified job applicants for open positions; collaborates with departmental managers as required to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
- Lead candidate lifecycle efforts through pre-employment and hire including dispositioning, background and drug screen administration.
- Participates in routine tasks required to administer and execute human resources programs including, but not limited to, compensation, benefits, leave administration, recognition and rewards programs, morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.
- Biweekly processing of payroll for hourly and salaried employees.
- Support Corporate requests and initiatives as required.
- Handles routine employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate personnel.
- Attends and as required, participates in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
- Maintains compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, as well as recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices as required to maintain compliance.
- Lead full cycle onboarding process for new hires.
- Leads contractor onboarding and offboarding.
- Manage and maintain the HRIS and employees records.
- Processing of employee offboarding tasks.
- Demonstrate and ensure compliance of Federal/State/Local laws.
- Assists with the day-to-day efficient operation of the HR department.
- Manage department and company event calendar.
- Support or lead HR and company events.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Bachelors Degree in Business, HR, Social Sciences or related field required.
- 4+ years of HR related experience.
- 2+ years of demonstrated technical recruiting experience for a software company required.
- Working knowledge of Federal, State and local HR laws
- Prior experience using an HRIS – experience with Paylocity is a plus
- High degree of professionalism and tact.
- Strong command of English language - bilingual/multilingual a plus.
- Outstanding Communication skills – both verbal and written.
- Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
- High sense of urgency with excellent organizational management skills.
- High attention to detail.
