Overview

The Business Development Director, in collaboration with business line leaders, drives revenue generation and growth of Vervent’s Primary Contact Center Servicing division which provides inbound and outbound contact center services, back-office support, and full-service cradle-to-grave loan, lease, and credit card account management to US based originators and issuers of financial credit instruments. This role requires extensive sales experience in contact center services and an elevated knowledge of outsourced contact center servicing. The ideal candidate will leverage their experience and knowledge to develop strategies to independently identify and engage new leads and, secondarily, will manage inbound leads generated through internet marketing channels.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Create, document, and execute a business development strategy that identifies key opportunity channels to pursue, the methods to pursue them, and a methodology to keep the prospecting channel full.
  • Independently identify and pursue new leads, business opportunities, partnerships, and industry engagement opportunities to drive new business.
  • Develop and execute strategies to effectively move new leads through the sales pipeline.
  • Collaborate with marketing resources and third-party marketing vendors to ensure marketing efforts are producing results that align with the business development strategy.
  • Collaborate with internal business-line leaders across departments to strategize client solutions, manage client satisfaction, and enhance our product offering.
  • Identify key industry conferences and develop a plan to attend and leverage the events to expand our network and generate new business opportunities.
  • Travel to meet with prospective and existing clients both domestically and internationally as required.
  • Meet or exceed production goals pertaining to sales, quality, and service delivery.
  • Perform other job duties as assigned.

Requirements
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a business development role with a full-service financial services loan, lease, and/or credit card servicing firm.
  • Experience in sales in Capital Markets and Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, or related field preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing effective business development strategies and execution plans.


Physical Requirements

The work is of an intellectual nature. While performing the functions of this job, the employee is required to stand and sit for prolonged periods. Specific vision abilities required include close and medium distance vision and the ability to adjust focus. Must be able to hear normal sounds, distinguish sound as voice and communicate through human speech. This position requires the ability to operate a keyboard, computer mouse, telephone, fax, copier, writing tools, and other standard office equipment. On an occasion, an employee will be asked to lift items weighing up to 35 lbs.

Salary Description
$99k - $133k/yr + competitive trailing commission!
