Saz’s Hospitality Group is seeking a Venue Coordinator to provide remarkable experiences for our clients and guests at our catering events. What's great about the role? No shift will be the same! Okay, but what does a Venue Coordinator do?
- Collaborate with our catering team and vendor partners to assist with set-up needs, ensure the timeline is maintained, and the food service is punctual
- Prepare event spaces – help setup and confirm accuracy of room layout, ensure the event space looks impeccable inside and out before guests arrive
- Greet clients and guests, assist with their needs before, during, and after the event
- Ensure a comfortable guest experience by monitoring lighting and HVAC settings, making sure restrooms are stocked with necessary items
- Execute onsite ceremonies by coordinating rehearsals and room setup from ceremony to reception layout
What are the requirements for a Venue Coordinator?
- High energy, creativity, organization, and a passion for service
- Great interpersonal skills
- Reliable transportation to various locations throughout the Milwaukee area
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
- Ability to carry 25–50 pounds
What else do you need to know?
- Weekend and evening availability is required – this is an “events-based” position, and most of our events are Thursday through Sunday evenings
- We offer flexible schedules – work as much or as little as you want
