Compensation: $14.35 - $16.00 per hour


Job Summary: As a cashier at Old Tucson, you’ll be an important part of our service team, working under our Kitchen Supervisor to ensure our customers start their day off right. You’ll greet customers with a smile when they walk in the door and offer assistance with anything they need. This role is ideal for friendly, personable workers with a passion and a desire to share our vision.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Greet customers as they come into the facility and offer your assistance with their orders.
  • Ring up food orders and communicate those orders to the kitchen staff, making sure to note any special requests so all items are made correctly.
  • Explain menu items to customers with enthusiasm and descriptive language and be knowledgeable about our ingredients.
  • Offer suggestions for order substitutions for customers with allergies or other dietary restrictions.
  • Offer to help customers find seating and carry items to their tables
  • Provide customers with anything they need, such as utensils, coffee items, booster seats or directions to the restroom.
  • Perform cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, and washing dishes, to keep equipment and facilities sanitary.
  • Other duties as assigned.



Education, Skill and Work Experience Requirements:


  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1+ years of experience working in a multi dining restaurant concept.
  • Previous food service experience.
  • Experience handling cash and using credit card processing machines.
  • Culinary school or food industry-specific experience. 
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Physical stamina to withstand a full shift potentially on their feet.



Work Environment:

  • Ability to pull, push, and carry a minimum of 50 lbs.
  • Extended and irregular hours including nights, weekends and holidays (Required).
