As a Presentation Designer, you'll work as part of our Design team, crafting compelling visuals that bring the world's greatest messages to life. You'll transform complex information into clear, engaging visuals that captivate audiences on both physical and virtual stages. By developing your skills in presentation design and collaborating with our team, you'll help create impactful presentations that inspire and engage global audiences. 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Design engaging presentations using PowerPoint, Keynote, and Google Slides that display strong adherence to design principles like visual hierarchy, contrast, and balance
• Create graphics and layouts that express the client's brand and visual style using presentation software and the Adobe Creative Suite
• Collaborate with Sr. Designers and Art Directors to execute designs from concept to final delivery, following established visual styles 
• Use animation within presentation software to achieve cinematic storytelling effects
• Apply visual thinking techniques to transform complex ideas into clear, engaging visual content
• Support brand guidelines by creating and adapting assets to align with brand and visual style
• Understand client needs and communicate design decisions effectively
• Work closely with teams, articulate design rationale, and implement feedback
• Manage project contributions, estimate task times, and deliver on budget

Performance Measurement

This role assumes an average monthly billability rate of 75%, but performance will also be assessed on:

• Consistency and quality of design deliverables
• Client satisfaction and feedback
• Team collaboration and growth mindset
• Adherence to project timelines and budgets

• 3-5+ years of relevant work experience in presentation design or sufficient transferable design skill from another space 
• Proficiency in PowerPoint, Keynote, Google Slides, and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator)
• Solid visual design skills, with a good understanding of typography, color theory, and layout principles
• Familiarity with integrating basic animation into presentations
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
• Experience working in an agency environment is beneficial

Language Skills

Ability to read and interpret documents such as contracts, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations changing frequently. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Compensation

Employees new to Duarte typically start at the beginning of the pay range. Base pay is part of a total compensation package that includes monthly stipends for health, wellness, and tech spending, and benefits (including 100% subsidized medical coverage, dental, and vision for employees). 

Duarte utilizes a simple and transparent pay structure which is based on a variety of factors. The National Average range provided below will be reviewed and adjusted as needed based on location, experience, and job-related skills.
