Overview


We're seeking a detail-oriented Marketing Intern to join our dynamic team with a focus on conferences, events, and some graphic design. This part-time role offers hands-on experience in event planning, marketing execution, and creative design while working in a collaborative environment.



Key Responsibilities 

  • Assist with planning conferences, trade shows, and marketing events
  • Coordinate event logistics including vendor communication, hotel bookings, and venue research
  • Create social media promotional graphics using Canva and similar tools
  • Manage SWAG inventory and fulfill orders
  • Ship and organize trade show materials and booth kits
  • Support marketing campaigns through email outreach and social media promotion
  • Collaborate with various marketing teams (content, design, digital) to ensure cohesive event promotion and execution

Requirements
  • Available to work part-time (15-20 hours per week in-office depending on class schedule)
  • Detail-oriented and organized with exceptional communication skills
  • Passionate about event planning, logistics, and marketing
  • Capable of multitasking and thriving in a collaborative team environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
  • Familiarity with marketing tools is a plus
  • Currently enrolled in a Marketing, Communications, Business, or related degree program
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Basic design skills or willingness to learn
