As a Business Development Representative at Ardent Chicago, you will work in a fast-paced brokerage environment, introducing and selling Ardent’s suite of services to customers and shippers. You will build and maintain relationships with businesses ranging from small companies to global enterprises. As your portfolio grows, you will receive the resources and support needed to scale your success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prospect and connect with shippers and customers to introduce Ardent
  • Develop and expand customer relationships
  • Manage the sales cycle from lead generation to account activation
  • Negotiate rates and terms of service with shippers
  • Communicate proactively with customers and carriers to resolve issues
  • Deliver outstanding customer service

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to multitask while managing calls, emails, and messages
  • Self-motivated with a competitive sales drive
  • Basic computer skills
  • Previous sales experience preferred but not required
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced sales environment
