Description
Three Brothers Wineries & Estates is looking for a motivated and reliable part-time line cook to join our team. As a line cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking meals in a fast-paced kitchen environment. We are looking for an energetic, passionate, and friendly team member that can efficiently multi-task, and work in a fast-paced environment with ease. Our café team, along with our tasting room team, form the backbone of the customer experience at Three Brothers Wineries & Estates. We work as a team to provide incredible service to customers visiting our facilities. A team player with a positive attitude and personable demeanor is essential.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare ingredients and cook food according to recipes and quality standards.
- Ensure that all food is prepared and plated in a timely manner.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen.
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to meet customer expectations.
- Assist with other kitchen duties as required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Food Preparation: Prepare ingredients, seasonings, and garnishes for meals according to recipe standards.
- Cooking and Plating: Cook food to order, ensuring consistency, quality, and presentation meet company standards. Plate food properly before sending it to the front of the house.
- Kitchen Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized workstation throughout the shift, ensuring adherence to safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Inventory Management: Assist with inventory control, keeping track of stock levels and ensuring proper storage of ingredients.
- Food Safety and Cleanliness: Follow all health and safety regulations, including food storage, hygiene practices, and kitchen cleanliness.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with other kitchen staff and servers to ensure timely preparation and delivery of food.
- Equipment Handling: Operate kitchen equipment (such as grills, fryers, ovens, and slicers) safely and properly.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with kitchen team members and front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service.
- Quality Control: Ensure food items meet quality standards before being sent to customers.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Line Cook or similar role for 2+years- culinary degree or equivalent certification is desirable.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, culinary trends and best practices.
- Solid understanding of food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Maintains a positive attitude.
- Exceptional communication and organizational abilities
- Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for long periods of time
- Must be able to work most weekends, some holidays, and at nights (for events), as needed.

Salary Description
$18.00/hour + Tips
