Sales Account Manager in Training – S&S Firestone, Inc. (Shreveport Region)
S&S Firestone, Inc. is one of the largest independent tire distributors in the U.S., managing over 1 million square feet of inventory. With a dedicated team of over 550 employees across 10 Southeastern states, our company specializes in three key business sectors: wholesale, commercial, and retread. We are looking to bring on a Sales Account Manager in Training to join our dynamic Sales Team in the Shreveport Region.
As an Account Manager in Training, your primary focus will be on learning the ropes of sales, customer management, and territory operations to eventually take full ownership of a designated sales territory. You will be responsible for assisting in the achievement of sales and profit goals, gaining knowledge in all aspects of customer account management, and supporting the overall sales operations for your assigned territory.

You will receive training and mentorship from the Regional Sales Manager as you work to meet sales objectives, build customer loyalty, and develop your sales skills.
Job Duties:
- Customer Account Management: Assist in managing a portfolio of customer accounts, ensuring strong customer retention and satisfaction.
- Sales Support: Engage with customers daily, supporting the sales team by helping reach out to new clients, assisting in customer needs, and developing strategies to maintain customer loyalty.
- Problem Resolution: Learn to address customer concerns, including program numbers, product inquiries, and business functions like warranty claims, supply chain issues, and collections as needed.
- Customer Retention Strategies: Help implement strategies to retain customers, including handling situations where customers may want to downgrade or terminate their accounts.
- Account Updates: Assist in recording and updating customer account details, modifying service packages, adding or removing accounts as necessary.
- Learning and Development: Participate in training sessions to learn best practices in sales, customer relations, and territory management.
- Other Duties: Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Regional Sales Manager.
