Registration Clerk
Description

Responsible for greeting and assisting patients in the Clinic reception area.  Assists in administering appointments and maintaining patient records.  Performs patient reimbursement and collection duties and provides clerical support to the Clinic Administrator. 

Requirements
  • Education: High School graduate or equivalent.
  • Skills: Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Familiarity with operation of personal computers and typing speed of approximately 45 wpm.  Knowledge of general clerical duties. 
  • Prior Work Experience: One year in a business office or medical environment with knowledge of medical terminology preferred.                                                      
  • Physical and Mental Requirements:  Requires extended periods of sitting and lifting of items to a weight of 40 pounds.  The ability to comprehend and follow routine written or verbal instructions or directions.
