General Job Summary


The UIF Marketing Manager of Acquisition and Growth will drive new customer acquisition and sustainable growth across all product lines (Home Financing, Vehicle Financing, and Deposit Accounts) by developing and executing data-driven, targeted marketing campaigns across digital and community channels. They are responsible for website management & optimization, digital marketing & analytics, online brand building & reputation, product marketing, market research, events & partnerships focused on acquisition, compliance management for acquisition activities, content strategy for acquisition, and budget management for acquisition initiatives. They will also leverage data insights from the UIF Data Center extensively to optimize campaign performance and website effectiveness and maximize Return on investment (ROI). They will also manage relationships with external agencies supporting digital marketing efforts.


Summary of Essential Job Functions


Lead Data-Driven Acquisition Strategy & Execution: 

  • Develop and implement comprehensive, data-driven acquisition marketing strategies across all relevant digital channels (SEM, Paid/Organic Social Media, Display Advertising, Email Marketing, Website) and targeted community initiatives. Set ambitious new customer acquisition goals and drive strategy execution across all product lines. 

Digital Campaign Management & Optimization for ROI: 

  • Plan, execute, and continuously optimize high-performing digital and social media marketing campaigns, ensuring precise data-driven targeting, compelling personalization, and maximum Return on Investment (ROI). Directly manage the digital advertising agency (PPC & Social Media) and oversee campaign performance. 

Website & Social Media Optimization for Lead Generation & Conversion: 

  • Own the bank's WordPress website and social media presence. Optimize website SEO and UX for lead generation and application conversion. Develop and execute a robust organic social media strategy to build community, brand engagement, and drive qualified leads. 

Data Analytics, Reporting & Actionable Insights: 

  • Proficiently utilize the UIF Data Center, Google Analytics, SiteImprove, CRM, and social media analytics platforms to rigorously track campaign performance, generate insightful data-rich reports, and extract actionable insights for continuous campaign optimization and strategic improvements. 

Product Marketing, Compliance & Brand Alignment: 

  • Develop compelling and fully compliant marketing materials for all financial product lines, ensuring clear communication of benefits and strong alignment with ethical finance principles and brand values. Ensure all acquisition marketing activities adhere to financial industry regulations and internal compliance policies. 

Strategic Budget Management & Data-Driven Allocation: 

  • Manage the full acquisition marketing budget across all channels and activities. Meticulously track expenditures, provide regular reports to the VP of Marketing, and strategically optimize budget allocation based on in-depth data analysis and ROI performance to maximize marketing impact. 

Effective Cross-functional Collaboration & Communication: 

  • Foster strong working relationships and collaborate closely with the VP of Marketing, Sales teams, Marketing Design Executive, Compliance Department, and other relevant departments to ensure seamless alignment of marketing efforts, data sharing, and contribution to overall business objectives. 

Proactive Online Brand & Reputation Management: 

  • Lead online reputation management initiatives and actively manage the bank's brand presence across Google Business and key social media platforms. Focus on building positive brand perception, fostering community engagement, and generating qualified leads through online channels.

Requirements

Education, Training and Work Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
  • Minimum 6+ years of progressive experience in data-driven digital marketing, with a strong focus on customer acquisition and performance optimization.
  • Proven experience in planning, executing, and optimizing digital marketing campaigns across SEM, Paid Social, Display Advertising, Email Marketing, and website optimization.
  • Strong expertise in website management (WordPress platform), SEO principles, and UX optimization for conversion.
  • Proficiency in using Google Analytics, Google Looker Studio (or similar data visualization tools), SiteImprove, CRM systems, and data analysis tools.
  • Experience managing digital advertising agencies and driving measurable ROI.
  • Solid understanding of marketing compliance and financial advertising regulations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, collaboration, and project management skills.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.
  • Passion for ethical finance and alignment with the organization's values 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Strong design skills with the ability to create visually appealing and effective digital assets. Preferred candidates should have proven experience with Canva, Adobe design software (Photoshop, Illustrator, and such).
  • Experience in managing social media accounts and developing social media strategies.
  • Experience in marketing automation and email marketing.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to create engaging content for various digital platforms.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to measure and analyze data to make data-driven decisions. 
  • Experience prioritizing, executing, and managing multiple simultaneous projects and tasks.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Self-motivated with strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently.

Working Environment

Primary working environment is within an indoor climate-controlled office space and/or a private home office or some combination which will be at managements sole discretion. Employee may be subject to florescent lighting, dust, and other normal indoor allergens. Employee may work in close proximity of coworkers and occasionally independently in quiet environments.


Physical Requirements

  • Able to lift up to 20 pounds.
  • Extended periods of sitting (at computer desk).
  • Complete repetitive tasks (including operation of computer mouse/keyboard).
