POSITION SUMMARY 

The Project Manager is responsible for owning the development and delivery of new products by conducting market research, creating product timeframes and plans, and crafting marketing strategies for new products. This position focuses on trafficking of new project requests and helping to evolve and manage intake of processes to drive continuous business improvement. 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Project Planning and Initiation:
  • Define project objectives, scope, and deliverables.
  • Develop detailed project plans and schedules.
  • Collaborate with clients to gather project requirements.
• Project Team Leadership:
  • Lead cross-functional project teams, including designers, developers, and CBT.
  • Assign tasks and responsibilities, ensuring clarity and accountability.
  • Foster collaboration and effective communication among team members.
• Design and Development Oversight:
  • Ensure design concepts align with client objectives.
  • Review design mockups, wireframes, and beta site.
• Client Communication and Relationship Management:
  • Act as liaison between client (internal and external), web implementation, development team and other parties as needed to help ensure tasks are completed to specification and the date they are due.
  • Maintain open and proactive communication to provide project updates.
  • Manage client expectations, address feedback, and ensure client satisfaction.
• Quality Assurance and Testing:
  • Oversee thorough testing and quality assurance processes on each client website.
• Risk Management:
  • Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Proactively address issues to keep projects on track and within scope.
  • Manage project scope changes and change requests effectively.
• Documentation and Reporting:
  • Follow client management process, procedures, and documentation standards. Ensure project tracking is well-maintained and accurate utilizing department procedures.
  • Create and deliver regular project status reports to stakeholders.
• Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS 

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Web Design, Computer Science, Project Management).
• Proven experience as a Project Manager in website development and design.
• Demonstrated experience managing cross-functional project teams.
• Familiarity with design and development tools and methodologies.
• Strong portfolio showcasing successful website development and design projects.
• Client-focused mindset with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
No supervisory responsibilities.

TRAVEL

May require light travel as needed to support clients and/or attend company events.
