POSITION OVERVIEW:
We are looking for a dynamic and highly motivated Golf & Utility Outside Sales Representative to expand our market presence in our Northern California AOR. This role is responsible for growing our golf and utility vehicle sales by developing relationships with customers and closing new business opportunities. Candidates should be highly self-motivated, have prior experience in industrial machinery or utility cart sales, and be comfortable managing a high-volume, competitive sales territory.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Identify and engage potential customers in their territory, including corporate campuses, event venues, golf courses, and universities.
- Establish and maintain long-term relationships to increase market share and customer loyalty.
- Present and recommend golf and utility vehicles that best meet customers' operational needs.
- Prepare and deliver sales proposals and product demonstrations tailored to customer requirements.
- Negotiate pricing and contract terms, ensuring profitable and long-lasting agreements.
- Partner with internal teams to ensure seamless order processing, delivery, and customer support.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to develop strategic sales plans.
- Attend trade shows, networking events, and professional associations to build brand awareness.
- Keep accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions in the company CRM system.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
Required
- Proven experience in Industrial Machinery / Utility Cart Sales.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong negotiation and persuasion abilities.
- Excellent judgment, organizational and analytical skills.
- Exceptional time management and organization skills.
- Willingness to travel to meet with customers.
- Ability to operate and drive demo vehicles.
- Ability to safely operate/load/unload a pick-up truck and trailer for equipment demos.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office suite.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions in English.
- Demonstrated ability to act in a way that is consistent with our values.
- Qualified DMV record, background check, and drug screening.
Desired
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related field.
- PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Position is predominantly remote with access to a professional office environment.
- Position requires the ability to visit and walk around customer sites with various building obstacles and fluctuating temperatures.
- Required to drive vehicle to customers and branch locations across Northern California.
- Use the computer as a telephone, messenger, and work tool, so expect to wear a headset and use both a keyboard and mouse frequently through the day.
- Regularly sit, stand, and walk for long and short distances.
- Hear with or without correction to be able to interpret and receive information and directions.
- Communicate, verbally and in written form, regularly to describe and explain detailed, important, and accurate instructions internally and directly with customers.??
- Occasionally lift and/or move material up to 25 lbs.
- Occasionally stoop, kneel, or crouch.
- Noise level is usually moderate.
