FNB is excited to offer a Summer Internship Program that is designed to provide students with hands on experience working in different facets of a bank, while having the ability to interact and observe various types of Bankers. The Intern position will be responsible for assisting different departments with duties including but not limited to, research, data entry, filing, general department functions and special projects and assignments that will expose students to learning more about the banking industry. Interns will be a part of a built-in network of industry contacts and may float amongst different markets to participate in different functions and networking events throughout the summer. This position will complete and present a capstone project on a banking industry-wide topic. Interns will receive training and exposure to major areas of the Bank, including administration, compliance, information technology, marketing and deposit and loan operations.

Requirements

What will you need as an Intern?

  • To be at least 18 years of age
  • High School diploma or equivalency required
  • Completion of at least two years of college and be currently enrolled in a four-year college/university degree program
  • Availability of up to 40 hours per week during summer months, beginning mid-May through mid-August. Must be punctual and dependable
  • Strong computer skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Intern should be able to work in a fast-pace environment with deadlines, multi-task, and possess critical thinking skills
  • Intern should demonstrate teamwork, interpersonal skills and verbal and written communication skills
  • To be well organized with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
