Are you passionate about helping others and enjoy being on the road? Join our LIFE Transportation team as a Driver and provide vital transportation services for elderly clients in Tulsa! Our LIFE PACE (Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly) team is dedicated to supporting seniors by helping them stay safely in their homes, avoiding nursing facility placement whenever possible.


What You’ll Do:

  • Safely transport seniors from their homes to our care center and to their scheduled appointments.
  • Assist clients as they get in and out of vehicles, including ensuring secure wheelchair transport when needed.
  • Keep vehicles clean, safe, and well-maintained, coordinating with our dispatcher for regular servicing.
  • Work closely with our team to follow assigned routes and scheduled rides.
  • Maintain confidentiality and a professional, caring attitude with clients at all times.

Requirements

CERTIFICATION, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

  • Holds and maintains a current Oklahoma Driver’s license
  • Possess CPR and basic first aid certification

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum of one (1) year of documented experience in working with a frail or elderly population preferred.
  • Experienced in transporting individuals with special mobility needs preferred.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and ABILITIES:

  • Working knowledge of physical, mental and social needs of the frail elderly population.
  • Function independently, have flexibility, and personal integrity.
  • Skilled in identifying and recommending problem resolution; and ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.

This is a Safety Sensitive position requiring candidates to have:

  • a background check,
  • a pre-employment drug test,
  • motor vehicle record check,
  • TB screen.
