Are you ready to take the next step in your career as a SharePoint Developer? VSO is seeking a talented SharePoint Developer with 3-5 years of experience to join our team! In this role, you will support and manage SharePoint 2019 environments, including publishing, staging, production, and DR environments. You’ll handle environment-level support, application-level support, and DBA activities.

Key Responsibilities:

Environment-level Support:
- Handle environment related support tickets:
- Monitor environments health.
- Maintenance windows verifications.
- Review, validate, and deploy necessary SharePoint service packs / hot fixes.
- Service accounts password regular changes as per schedule
- Facilitate the resolution of external issues affecting the mentioned SharePoint environments.
- Basic AvePoint support, maintenance, administration, modification and patching.
- Capacity review and planning once every 6 months and apply capacity planning changes once per year.
Disaster Recovery activities for SharePoint 2019 environment:
- DR servers patching as needed (SharePoint, SQL, and DocAve patches).
- DR drill once per calendar year.
- Ping Federate (SSO) related issues.
- LDAP (VDS) people search for related issues.
Application-level Support:
- Facilitate the resolution of external issues affecting the SharePoint environments mentioned through communicating and following up with the relevant environment owner.
- Support activities coordination and reporting. Handling the regular SharePoint support tickets such as users’ administration, creating pages, and managing lists.
- Support users’ migration to the ADXU domain; applying necessary updates to the internal
- SharePoint publishing environment.
DBA Activities Support:
- Daily monitoring for the SQL cluster servers’ status/services and scheduled backups.
- Monthly clusters drill: making sure that the clusters failover is working as expected for all the clusters nodes.
- Responding to the application team requests.
- SQL clusters patching (security and critical SQL updates).

- 3-5 years of professional experience working as a SharePoint Developer.
- Professional experience as a DBA.
- Professional experience working with Sharepoint 2019 Application, SQL Server Infrastructure, DocAve, and ADXU.
- Must be willing and able to work 100% remotely.
