Giffels Webster is seeking a creative, detail-oriented Marketing Specialist. This role develops and maintains high-quality marketing materials supporting business development and promoting our brand. The ideal candidate has experience in proposal and collateral development, graphic design, social media, and event coordination. This position offers opportunities to collaborate across teams, contribute to campaigns, and manage projects that enhance visibility and engagement.
As a Marketing Specialist, you will create visually engaging proposals, presentations, and content ensuring alignment with brand standards. You will also manage promotional materials. You will support event planning for events, manage social media, and assist with initiatives such as recruitment campaigns. Strong organization, communication, and project management skills are essential to succeed in this dynamic role.
The ideal candidate will possess the ability to work in a team environment, coordinating work with coworkers, clients, contractors and other consultants. Candidates should be able to demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills and technical knowledge, attention to detail, creative, problem solving and analytic skills.
Typical responsibilities include:
- Create visually engaging proposals, presentations, and other marketing materials using Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
- Develop and maintain marketing collateral including project descriptions, team resumes, boilerplate content, and imagery.
- Manage promotional materials to support marketing initiatives and ensure brand consistency.
- Support event planning, attendance, production, and execution for activities such as webinars, trade shows, seminars, community gatherings, and client/partner networking events.
- Maintain social media accounts and content.
- Assist with special marketing projects e.g. recruitment marketing initiatives, internal campaigns, etc.
- Other duties as assigned.

In-person collaboration and mentoring are paramount to the success of this position. With experience and the approval of your supervisor, you could earn the ability to work a hybrid schedule, up to two days per week remotely and three days in the office.

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of marketing experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud applications, specifically InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with Content Management Systems (CMS).
- Beginner to intermediate experience with RFP/RFQ processes, including compliance and submission requirements.
- 1 year of AEC industry or proposal management experience preferred.
