Job Summary:

The Financial Analyst - Contractor is responsible for analyzing key financial metrics, including cash flow, profitability, and performance trends, to support business decision-making and financial planning.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze financial data to develop models that aid in business planning, forecasting, and decision-making.
• Prepare detailed monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, highlighting key trends and variances.
• Conduct financial analysis to evaluate the company's financial health, profitability, and performance.
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes, providing actionable insights to ensure financial goals are met.
• Analyze sales data and forecast future revenue based on traffic, conversion, and Average Order Value (AOV) trends.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide actionable recommendations to improve financial outcomes.
• Research investment opportunities, cost-saving measures, and business strategies to optimize financial performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support strategic planning and business initiatives.
• Stay up to date with market trends, industry benchmarks, and financial regulations to ensure compliance and competitiveness.
• Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and analysis.
• Assist in developing financial presentations for senior management and stakeholders.
• Adhere to federal and state regulations. 
• Adhere to all company policies, processes, and procedures. 
• Performs other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.  
• Predictable and reliable attendance. 

Position Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or related field.
• Minimum of one (1) year of experience in financial analysis or related field.
• Demonstrated proficiency in financial modeling and analysis using Excel is required; experience with financial planning software preferred. 
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data. 
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy in financial reporting and analysis.
• Solid understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (US GAAP).
• Thorough understanding of methods of systems analysis and the principles, design, and procedural methods used in data analysis.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying solutions. 
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
