Oversees and manages pharmacy operations' on assigned set of pharmacies. Develop and implement policies and procedures based on current state and federal guidelines and the requirements of the client that owns the pharmacy. Available to serve as the first line of contact to the client needs and concerns about the pharmacy operations, updates and all reports needed for the pharmacy's management.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the oversight of the Pharmacist-in-charge and technicians in the pharmacies.
- Manages and ensures the pharmacies are appropriately staffed including a courier service or driver based on the needs of the pharmacy.
- Develop and deploy policy and procedures for pharmacy operations in compliance with Board of Pharmacy guidelines and Nuvem requirements.
- Knowledgeable of the current system of dispensing and be a resource for the staff in the pharmacy
- Performs quarterly pharmacy operations audits to ensure compliance of guidelines.
- Responsible for creation and updates of pharmacy operation procedures.
- Implement and make changes to address any gaps in pharmacy operations.
- A first line of contact for clients' with concerns about pharmacy operations, incident reports and drug inventory concerns.
- Reports any immediate concerns and needed help to management for support and also keeps management apprised of challenges and successes of the pharmacies.
- Travel as needed for the business.

- Bachelor of Science or PharmD in Pharmacy degree from an accredited university is required.
- Previous management in retail or ambulatory pharmacy setting.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in pharmacy management software and technology.
- Travel requirements: as required by business needs.
Preferred Expectations:
- Experience with operations within a 340B pharmacy.
- Experience with Pioneer Pharmacy Management System.
