Salary: $61,000 - $91,000 annually


Commission Structure

  • Commission: Earn 4.75% - 5.5% of RO parts and labor sales (less discounts and sublet):
    • 4.75% for CSI below zone average.
    • 5.25% for CSI above zone average.
    • 5.5% for CSI in the top 10% of the zone.
  • Additional bonuses and spiffs as dictated by management.

About the Role

As a Service Advisor, you’ll be the bridge between our customers and our service department, ensuring a seamless and positive experience. This role is perfect for an experienced Express Advisor or Independent Shop Advisor looking to grow within a dealership environment. For motivated individuals, there’s a clear path to advancement, including opportunities to become a Service Drive Manager.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Customer Interaction:
    • Schedule service appointments and gather vehicle/customer information before arrival.
    • Provide clear and accurate repair orders for technicians.
    • Explain recommended services, completed work, and associated costs to customers.
    • Maintain high standards for customer satisfaction.
  • Vehicle Inspection & Recommendations:
    • Inspect vehicles and recommend necessary services.
    • Provide accurate cost estimates using the Service Price Guide.
    • Monitor and communicate the status of special-order parts.
  • Process Management:
    • Keep customers informed about their vehicle’s status and technician findings.
    • Submit required documents to extended warranty providers.
  • Additional Duties:
    • Identify bodywork needs and provide estimates.
    • Handle telephone inquiries and other related tasks as required.

Larson Automotive Benefits:

Larson Automotive Group offers a comprehensive group medical insurance plan to all hired full-time applicants that start the first of the month following the completion of continuous 60 of employment. We offer 4 plans to help employees access the best plan that fits their budget and needs. One plan is zero cost to the employee. We also have a company paid Life ($10,000) and AD&D plan ($40,000.00) that is for all benefit eligible employees. Employees must maintain no less than 32 hours per week to be considered ‘full-time’ for benefits.

The 401k plan starts after the completion of 2 months of employment, the employee will be automatically enrolled into the program starting at a 3% deduction and this will increase 1% per year for the first 3 years. The company does match 50% of the first 4% contributed by the employee.  Employees on a budget or who want to know exactly what will be coming out of their check can also opt to have a flat dollar amount withheld from their check. We also offer a ROTH plan option as well. Employees can opt out of the plans at any time.

Hourly and Salary employees will receive 6 paid holidays each year.


We offer a competitive PTO (Paid Time Off) program; employees begin to accrue hours from day one worked (eligible to use after 90 days of employment). PTO is accrued for the first 2 years at 1 hour for every 40 hours worked at 3 to 10 years 1.53 hours of PTO for every 40 hours worked and at 10 years 2.30 hours of PTO for every 40 hours worked.

Requirements

 

  • Above average Customer Service experience. 
  • Automotive dealership experience preferred, but not necessary. 
  • Ability to properly handle potentially stressful situations. 
  • Friendly, courteous, professional with a "team player" attitude. 
  • Self-motivated to work independently as well as part of a team. 
  • Ability to take direction well. 
  • Clear and concise communication skills 
  • Highly organized
