Hours: Monday-Friday 2pm-7/7:30pmCST (25-28 hrs/wk)

SUMMARY

Heartland Homecare Services is seeking a hardworking, shipping team member to become part of our daily shipping department.

Routes range from local/low mileage/many stops to more distant/higher mileage/fewer stops. You will use a smartphone scanning device and digital applications to control jobs on a manifest and to secure signature for Proof of Delivery. You will be the face of the business, interacting with clients, so an appropriate degree of professionalism is required.

• 80% of your job will be delivering small packages to group homes throughout the region from a base of operations. 
• 20% of your job will be helping the Shipping team sort and organize completed prescriptions and prepare them for shipments.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Clean driving record required (you will be asked to provide MVC abstract.) 
• Valid KS state license.   No CDL needed.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Ability to multi-task and work with other members of the shipping and distribution team
• Understanding of basic production processes for packaging and shipping
• FedEx Shipping / Overnight Shipping Experience is a Plus
• Experience working in a Commercial Pharmacy is a Plus
• Ability to complete projects in a timely manner

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to withstand long hours of driving and getting in and out of vehicle.
• Must be able to pick up to 40lbs to load vehicle.
• Must be able to drive at night
• Must be able to speak and write English
• Good phone communication
