The Massage Therapist, or Massage Practitioner, is responsible for providing relaxation or treating body pain and discomfort through physical touch and moving a client’s muscles. To achieve maximum success, the Massage Therapist will discuss with the client and determine the techniques appropriate to address the client’s needs. Techniques may include Abhyanga therapy, Shirodhara, sweat therapy, and other ayurveda bodywork techniques. Medicated oils are used for the body and essential oils are used for the marma points. The Massage Therapist may also be guided by an ayurvedic practitioner on treatment recommendations for a client.

Treatments, including therapies in the Panchakarma program, facilitates the cleansing, well-being, and rejuvenation of each client. The Massage Therapist shall create a caring and healing environment for the client and their journey.

This is an Independent Contractor role. Schedule requirements are 3-5 days a week including Saturdays.

• Massage experience required
• Must have an active Massage Therapy license in North Carolina
• Desire and ability to work in a team and communicate effectively with clients and staff
• Deep desire for health and wellness. Knowledge or experience in Ayurveda preferred
