Maintenance Planner/ Scheduler
Description

The Maintenance Planner/ Scheduler is a cornerstone position in ensuring the seamless scheduling and planning of maintenance operations. A successful candidate will utilize tools like Chempax to optimize processes and drive efficiency. You will work in a team committed to safety, compliance, and continuous improvement. Responsibilities:

  • Develop & Manage Schedules: Issue weekly and monthly schedules to ensure smooth operations.
  • Plan Maintenance Operations: Coordinate orders, purchase necessary parts, and arrange contractor services.
  • Track & Communicate Progress: Publish weekly KPIs and maintain open communication on completed work and overtime needs.
  • Ensure Work Quality: Verify work requests for accuracy, including correct equipment and clear scope definitions.
  • Uphold Safety & Compliance: Adhere to plant safety policies and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) requirements.



Requirements

Qualifications/ Experience:

  • High School Diploma, General Educational Development (GED), or equivalent (required).
  • Certification or experience with Primavera P6 and Last Planner (preferred).
  • Experience in Industrial maintenance in small to medium-sized chemical or oil/gas production facilities (required).
  • 10+ years of experience with Chempax or SAP enterprise resource planning software (required).
  • FDA cGMP experience (preferred).
  • Strong communication and analytical abilities.
  • Proficiency in planning, scheduling, and prioritizing tasks.
  • Trouble shooting skills and knowledge of electrical tools.
  • Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
  • Weekly and monthly schedules are issued and executed seamlessly.
  • Maintenance operations are proactively planned and efficiently completed.
  • Key performance indicators (KPIs) are tracked, published, and show measurable improvement.
  • Work requests are accurate, and workflows are optimized for productivity.
