The Grant Programs Manager is responsible for overseeing programs and staff dedicated to ADAMH, that are grant funded, or provide services to children or the schools.
ADAMH: Acts as the agency liaison with the ADAMH Board and ADAMH staff, oversee all aspects of funding and contracts, including but not limited to services, outcomes, grants, budget writing, and ensuring effective, accurate communication between New Horizons and the Board and Board staff.
Grants Program Management: Serves as the primary point of contact for other grant and funding sources, including administration of existing grant programs, and application and approval of new grants. Monitors conditions and requirements of grant programs, and ensures that all metrics are satisfied, including applicable reporting.
Program Management: Oversee the operations of the Mobile Crisis/MRSS Department, SUD Department, AOT Department, Children’s Services Department, and Community-Based Services Department, ensuring services are provided in an appropriate manner with the highest possible quality. Provide supervision to direct reports, and clinical supervision as necessary. Ensure compliance of assigned departments with regulatory bodies, as well as policy, procedure, rules, and law.
Personnel Management: Manage all personnel functions related to their assigned departments; assist with recruiting, hiring, and discharging staff in consultation with CEO and HR. Monitors staff performance in all assigned departments, ensuring staff compliance and providing training to ensure excellence in staff performance, fostering personal growth and ensuring receipt of supervision.
Additional duties as assigned.
Minimum of Master’s degree in Social Work, Clinical Counseling, or a related field, with at least five (5) years’ experience working in the mental health field, and three (3) years’ experience in management or leadership positions. Licensure as an LISW/LPCC strongly preferred. Strong knowledge grants and funding sources, as well as excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills required. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, the ability to work as a team and individually, and the ability to work and interact with diverse staff, populations, and stakeholders are required. Must possess proficient skills in standard business software, and be able to read, interpret, and utilize financial data.
