Essential Functions & Responsibilities

  • Strong understanding of the necessity and purpose of each loan document for all loan types and scan documents in a timely matter in a predetermined order.
  • Effective communication with members, dealerships, staff, and appropriate titling authority per each state. Strong understanding of in-state and out-of-state processes for autos, recreational vehicles, motorcycles, and farm equipment. Ensure proper documentation for all titles and UCC processing on loan obtained by loan processors.
  • Work with insurance companies and state national regarding vehicles financed with the CU.
  • Strong understanding of all credit union products and services.
  • Follow all policies and procedures regulated by the credit union as well as governmental policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Perform file maintenance regarding loan changes and skip payments.
  • File gap claims and refunding members appropriately.
  • Performs other duties as assigned

  • To accurately scan loan documents in a specified order within the proper timeframe.

  • To maintain a dependable record of attendance and timeliness.
  • To monitor loan documents and ensure proper completeness of the loan document file.
  • To perfect liens in a timely manner.
Requirements
  • Six to twelve months of similar or related experience.
  • Courtesy, tact, and diplomacy are essential elements of the job. Work involves much personal contact with others inside and/or outside the organization for purposes of giving or obtaining information, building relationships, or soliciting cooperation.
  • Must have good communication and organizational skills. Detail oriented. Ten key calculator, typewriter and keyboard skills. Microsoft office excel and word skills.
  • Able to operate standard office equipment.
  • A high school education or GED.
  • Typical office environment utilizing shared office equipment.
