Essential Functions & Responsibilities

  • Process online applications, assist with selecting loan products and process the application.
  • Ensure that proper documentation is received and completed.
  • Cross sell disability, life, involuntary unemployment, Gap and MRC protection. Cover 60% of the total dollars processed to maintain goal and 45% of auto loans with Gap protection to maintain goal.
  • Identify and offer Credit Union services that meet the members’ financial needs.
  • Files loan documents with the appropriate agencies. Verifies that liens are perfected, and titles are received in a timely manner.
  • Respond to all incoming digital communications and correct issues as needed.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for our members on all consumer facing digital platforms.
  • Actively and thoughtfully communicating with their supervisor, planning their goals and development, taking accountability for their actions and striving for excellence.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Performance Measurements

  • To provide professional, friendly, and accurate service to members and co-workers.
  • Producing, closing, and completing member loan documents, reports, titles, etc. in a timely fashion, with minimal errors.
  • To proactively seek to cross sell credit union produces and services for the betterment of the member and meet 60% goal on debt cancellation products and 45% of auto loans with Gap protection.
  • To respond to E-notifications in a timely manner.
  • To maintain a dependable record of attendance and timeliness.
Requirements
  • One or more years' or similar or related experience.
  • Minimum Education: High School Diploma or GED.
  • Excellent business communication skills; in particular, able to write clearly and professionally for a variety of audiences.
  • Excellent listening skills with ability to ask probing questions to determine member needs and overcome objections; excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to resolve complex issues with minimal direction.
  • Demonstrated effective time management skills and the ability to work independently or in a collaborative team environment.
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines without sacrificing quality.
  • Proficiency with online messaging systems.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
