Description
The Engineer II will perform routine, mid-level engineering tasks under the direct supervision of a senior engineer with the goal of developing more advanced applied engineering skills. This position will also be in charge of the day-to-day operations and set goals to meet deadlines of the customers.

Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for updating all Projects in Netsuite
- Keeping Customer and Sales Up to date on status
- Drafting on current warehouse on Auto CAD
- Coordinate with Structural Engineer
- Submittal of Permits to City
- Coordinate with install team on the installation
- Site visit before and after completion of project
- Facilitates and contributes to the development of project plans and designs.
- Recommends and/or analyzes materials, equipment, and practices used in the project.
- Assesses the competence, capabilities, resources, and financial status of vendors.
- Collaborates with design group to change plans if problems arise.
- Ensures compliance with codes, guidelines, best practices, and policies.
- Collaborates with the operations department to identify and troubleshoot problems.
Education and Experience:
- A Bachelor's degree in engineering, with the specific field depending on the industry, such as mechanical, electrical, civil, or software engineering (preferred).
- Auto-CAD is a must.
- Ability to sketch a warehouse using provided measuring tools
- Microsoft Office knowledge – Word and Excel
- Solidworks and Rhino knowledge a plus, but not required
- Knowledge of City Submittal for Building Permit and High Pile Permits is preferred but not required.
- Commodity Classification and Fire Code knowledge is preferred but not required.
- Must have a valid and active driver’s license
- Basic knowledge of regulations and standards related to the field, such as OSHA, IEEE, or ASME.

Salary Description
salary range is $70,000-$80,000
