Pressure Control Assistant

  • $22-$25/hr  
  • Monday -  Friday, 7:00 to 3:00 pm with OT

Core Responsibilities 

  • The candidate who obtains this position must qualify on basic pressure control certifications.
  • Perform as a contributing technician with the installation, maintenance, repair and troubleshooting of gas regulating and monitoring equipment.  
  • Use hand and power tools.

Requirements

 Relevant Work Experience 

  • Previous outdoor work experience, driving experience, and basic hand tool use preferred.

Skills and Abilities 

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills 
  • Performs work independently with minimal supervision 
  • Reliable, responsible, and willing to learn 

Physical Demands · Ability to respond to after-hours emergencies · Able to work in all weather conditions, i.e. heat and/or cold · Ability to carry tools and materials when climbing ladders and scaffolds, and entering confined spaces · Ability to work in adverse conditions that include noise, confined spaces, and high elevations · Ability to climb ladders and stairs safely · Ability to work on elevated platforms, scaffolds, catwalks, roofs, and/or other equipment · Stand, walk, lift up to 50lbs, climb, bend, kneel, stoop, and/or reach for the duration of the day · Unload materials from delivery vehicles and deliver equipment and materials to various operating facilities · Wear necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), i.e. FR clothing and safety harnesses · Use equipment with a maximum weight rating of 375lbs when wearing and/or carrying 25lbs of clothing and equipment  Education · High School Diploma or equivalent  Licenses and Certifications · Valid Driver’s License required
