Inventory Planner
Description

This position is a key role within our sales and operations planning and supply chain processes.  Responsibilities include analysis of inventory trends, working capital optimization, and ERP material data. Also responsible for inventory reporting to local and global management.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: (Other duties as assigned.)

  • Communication of Inventory Performance and Position to Company leadership 
  • Inventory Turn analysis to maximize use of goods while minimizing excess and slow-moving inventory.
  • Implementation of Material Strategy to support business requirements and optimization of working capital
  • Collaboration with Planning and Product Management organizations to develop optimized inventory strategies in support of      Company goals
  • Execution / Monitoring of Product Life Cycle activities in alignment with Product Management.  Strategy implementation for      product transitions, new product launches, and facilitation of inventory disposition activities. 
  • Management of Material Master data required for supply planning
  • Data review / analysis for supply and inventory key performance indicators- 
Requirements

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS include the following.

3-5 years operational manufacturing experience emphasis on MRP, supply chain, production planning

Ability to communicate, verbally and written, professionally with people at all levels of the organization and external contacts

Solid decision making, analytical and organizational skills

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of changing situations under time constraints and/or high-pressure environment

Ability to interact professionally with multiple departments to effectively meet customer requirements

Experience in leading a team or project

MS-Office proficient 

Fluent in English -verbal and written 

SAP or SO99 system experience highly desired

APICs/ASCM Certification desired

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business administration or other supply chain management related field

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Ability to work extended schedules as needed

Long periods of computer work at a desk/cubicle

Salary Description
$68,640.00- $75,000.00 DOE
