Delta Industries Inc. is looking to hire a highly skilled Construction Equipment Mechanic to work on its fleet of Heavy Equipment to include Concrete Mixer Trucks, Tractor Trailer units, End Loaders and any other equipment needed.

This position will be hands on and working on minor repairs for the most part:

Attributes we are looking for:

*Methods, materials, equipment, and tools used in vehicle and equipment maintenance and repair.

*Various mechanical systems of diesel engines.

*Various electrical systems of diesel engines.

*Standard practices, equipment and tools of the automotive and equipment mechanical trade.

*Principles and practices of diesel engine repair and maintenance.

*Methods and techniques of welding and fabrication is a plus.

*Operating and repair characteristics of hydraulic systems.

*Occupational hazards and standard safety procedures.

*CDL A/B license is preferred

*Must have own tools

*Must have extensive experience working on Commercial Motor Vehicles

*Must be able to work alone and accomplish tasks efficiently
