Vector Solutions is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented QA Automation Engineer to join our team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work in software quality assurance and automated testing. As a QA Automation Engineer, you will work closely with our development and QA teams to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products.


What We're Looking For:

  • Implement QA Automation test suites of SafeLMS and JAM application
  • Collaborate with the QA and development teams to understand project requirements and identify test scenarios
  • Assist in designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts using tools like Selenium Pytest or similar frameworks
  • Execute automated and manual test cases to ensure the functionality, performance, and security of software applications
  • Analyze test results, identify bugs, and document issues in a clear and concise manner
  • Participate in root cause analysis and work with developers to resolve identified defects
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies
  • Help create and maintain detailed documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports 
  • Contribute to testing environment configuration and deployment
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 4+ years of experience working in QA automation teams
  • Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Java, C# or JavaScript
  • Familiarity with automation testing tools like Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright is a plus
  • Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and software testing life cycle (STLC)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities 
  • Self-motivated, eager to learn, and detail oriented
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to spot mistakes 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
  • Highly motivated and readily picks up new languages, frameworks, and tools
  • Other duties as assigned
