Summary

Working under the direction of the VP of Marketing & Public Relations, the Digital Marketing Specialist is responsible for creating, managing, and optimizing digital marketing activities for Sierra Central Credit Union. This role involves developing and executing digital marketing strategies, designing, editing and managing website performance, analyzing data to optimize campaigns, and ensuring the effectiveness of all digital marketing assets. 


This role is ideal for someone with a deep understanding of digital marketing, web development, and a passion for leveraging online channels to drive engagement and growth. The Digital Marketing Specialist will play a crucial role in advancing Sierra Central Credit Union’s digital presence and optimizing online marketing initiatives through innovative web solutions, social media, and effective target marketing campaigns, using digital strategies.


Essential Functions

  • Assists the VP of Marketing & Public Relations with various digital marketing projects and promotions.
  • Create segmented email groups from Integrator Advanced for use of targeted campaigns.
  • Administer email marketing campaigns that include list maintenance, segmentation, execution, monitoring, and reporting.
  • Review digital marketing trends, data, and promotions. 
  • Administer day-to-day digital marketing operations, including SEO, SEM, social media, and email marketing.
  • Develop and implement digital marketing strategies to meet departmental and company goals.
  • Manage website development, optimization, and content updates, ensuring excellent user experience, including deployment of new front-end features and products.
  • Utilize analytics tools to monitor and optimize digital marketing campaigns.
  • Analyze web traffic and online behavior to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain documentation, including workflows, and user guides.
  • Ensure timely execution of digital campaigns.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to enhance digital marketing and web development efforts.
  • Prepare monthly performance analytics reports.
  • Additional duties as assigned.


Requirements

Required Skills and Abilities

  1. Familiarity with digital marketing tools such as Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, Hootsuite, and Constant Contact
  2. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 
  3. Must type at least 60 words/min. 
  4. Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint and Word).
  5. Highly proficient in working with a Social Media Planner (Hootsuite).
  6. Highly proficient in working with the data system (Integrator Advanced or similar).
  7. Knowledge of Online Banking Platforms (Architect, Lumen or Alkami).
  8. Knowledge of Adobe Suite, especially Adobe Express.
  9. Working knowledge of Content Management Systems (Salesforce, Hubspot, etc.).
  10. Experience working with HTML is preferred.
  11. Strong experience with website management programs such as (Webflow, WordPress, etc.).
  12. Proficient in using analytic tools such as (Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, or similar).
  13. Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions to improve campaign performance.  
  14. Must be organized, detail oriented, creative and able to handle multiple digital projects in a fast-paced environment. 
  15. Ability to speak and present in an effective manner.
  16. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to other employees of the credit union.
  17. Must work well under pressure, meeting multiple and sometimes conflicting deadlines.
  18. Must, at all times, demonstrate cooperative behavior with colleagues and supervisors.


Education and Experience

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Web Development or related fields.
  2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in digital marketing with a focus on website management, email marketing, social media strategies, and digital analytics.
  3. Credit union or banking experience preferred.

Salary Description
$33.17 - $40.86 per hour
