OVERVIEW:
A Quality Technician in the produce industry plays a crucial role in ensuring that fruits and vegetables meet safety, quality, and regulatory standards throughout the production process. Their responsibilities encompass inspecting raw materials, monitoring processing stages, and verifying the quality of finished products. ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES/FUNCTIONS:
- Inspection of Raw Materials:?Examine incoming produce to ensure it meets specified quality and safety standards before processing.
- Monitoring Processing Stages:?Oversee different stages of production, from washing and sorting to packaging, ensuring adherence to quality protocols.
