IMS is looking for a Jury Research Coordinator to join our dynamic Litigation Consulting team. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys strategic planning, problem-solving, and working with a collaborative team to support high-stakes legal cases across the U.S.


 

JOB SUMMARY

The Jury Research Coordinator is a key member of the jury research team responsible for planning and executing jury research projects across the United States. The role involves collaborating with Jury Consultants and other members of the IMS Team to deliver comprehensive and high-quality jury research services, including Focus Groups, Mock Trials, and Social Media Research that supports jury selection services. The ideal candidate will be organized, proactive, analytical, and efficient, with excellent communication and relationship management skills.


  

SPECIFIC DUTIES

Pre-Research Preparation:

  • Develops research schedules and logistics memos for clients, guided by Case Managers and Jury Consultants.
  • Coordinates project expectations with Case Managers and Jury Consultants.
  • Arranges and manages project logistics with vendors, including facilities, parking, juror payment processing, catering/setup needs, and AV support.
  • Gathers jurisdiction demographics, recruitment screeners, and conflict lists;      monitors recruiting to ensure target demographics are met and respondents match panel criteria.
  • Develops and programs project surveys in our proprietary data visualization tools and coordinates necessary equipment.

Onsite/Online Project:

  • Monitors data gathering hardware and software systems, managing data collection throughout the day.
  • Supervises respondents onsite and provides payments as needed.
  • Coordinates, organizes, and oversees daily project schedules with support team.
  • Anticipates and manages respondents' and clients' needs, questions, and concerns, sharing insights with Jury Consultants.
  • Collaborates with onsite vendors.
  • Facilitates Zoom sessions for online projects as needed.

Post-Research:

  • Utilizes collected data to structure and present project findings into client deliverable format.
  • Works with the Case Managers to gather all invoices and receipts for projects.


Requirements

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Excellent attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills
  • Ability to manage the demands of multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to use a wide variety of department tools and resources, including Microsoft Office Suite, database, and case tracking software
  • Ability to work independently and proactively in a professional environment
  • Ability to perform under pressure, with great flexibility, to meet shifting deadlines


EDUCATION & TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in social or behavioral sciences preferred; Associate's degree considered or
  • Demonstrated equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience, including event coordination and logistics
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Project/event planning skills
  • Law/consulting firm experience a plus

Schedule Requirements

  • 50-60% travel

Location

  • Must reside within 40 miles of a major airport
  • This position is 100% remote and supports primarily west coast time zones
  • Opportunity available to those residing in the following states: AZ, NM, OR, UT
  • Strong preference for location in Western U.S.
