Server Assistants play a crucial role in ensuring a smooth dining experience for our guests by maintaining cleanliness and organization in the restaurant
GENERAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist waitstaff by promptly refilling water glasses, coffee/tea if ordered, replacing utensils and clearing plates between courses, obtaining condiments and proving assistance as needed
- Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests, ensuring their needs are met to enhance their overall dining experience
- Maintain a clean and well-stocked supply of utensils, napkins, condiments and other necessary items
- Assist with general cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming and dusting
- Adhere to all safety and sanitation regulations to ensure a safe working environment for both staff and guests
- Provide support to other team members as needed to ensure smooth restaurant operations during busy periods or special events
- 1 year experience in high volume restaurant preferred
- Ability to multi-task
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
- Must be a Team player
- Must be detail oriented
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Frequent walking, standing – lifting (up to 25 pounds).
- Will walk for long periods of time, possibly extended distances.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- May be indoor or outdoor setting depending on outlet.
- Varied weather conditions are expected.
- Varying schedule to include evenings, weekends, holidays and extended hours as business dictates.
