General Purpose
The HR Program Administrator is tasked with various programs relating to all phases of human resources activity, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and apprenticeships. Ensures plans are administered in accordance with federal and state regulation. This role assists the group HR department in overseeing several aspects of human resources, such as employee relations, compliance, talent management, and benefits administration.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities
· Performs recruitment activities, conducts initial screening interviews, evaluates applications and technical qualifications, and coordinates interviews and travel arrangements for potential candidates
· Administers pre-employment tests, evaluates reference checks, and maintains applicant flow logs
· Makes hiring recommendations and prepares employment offers in accordance with approval process
· Plans and conducts new employee orientation and benefits enrollment meetings
· Completes employment eligibility verification and maintains I-9 records
· Coordinates employee training activities and administration of the Learning Management System
· Coordinates the planning, organization, and administration of the apprenticeship program
· Develops and maintains contacts with schools and other organizations to find and attract applicants for various apprenticeship programs
· Coordinates participation in job fairs and makes public presentations at schools, organizations, and job fairs regarding the organization and opportunities
· Consults with management to identify and coordinate apprentice training activities
· Assists in compliance with equal employment opportunity regulations and affirmative action plan
· New employee presentations to introduce to the company.
· Responds to inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and programs
· Review Paylocity for accuracy monthly and update information as needed.
Other Duties/Responsibilities
· Assist in organizing employee activities and events and performs other duties as assigned.
· Prepares annual EEO-1 and VETS-4212 reporting for management review and filing
· Participates in business support staff meetings and attends other meetings and seminars
· Deputy for the following: assist/oversee employee relations and compliance, to include providing guidance to managers and employees on HR polices, disputes, performance management, and disciplinary actions; in coordination with Pilatus group support.
· Support initiatives to develop and implement HR policies and procedures as needed to support group strategies, enhance employee relations, and promote an inclusive workforce.
· Assist with the company’s drug and alcohol testing program.
· Ad-hoc projects as assigned.
