We are hiring two Health Center Operations Managers —one at Dora Street Health Center in Ukiah, CA, and another at Little Lake Health Center in Willits, CA. Duties include:
- Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws, including interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
- Works collaboratively with Clinical Directors, site and department supervisors to achieve operational goals.
- Works with peers and staff to ensure that the Health Center meets or exceed quality initiatives for NCQA, PHP, UDS, and other organizational initiatives as required.
- Will collaborate with Department Managers in the implementation of MCHC’s policy and procedures, ensuring uniform application throughout the corporation.
- Maintains effective give-and-take relationships with providers in all service sectors.
- Consistently acknowledges and appreciates each team member's contributions.
- Effectively interacts with each team member to his/her fullest potential.
Benefits:
Compensation ranges from $70,000 to $90,000 per year, based on experience, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package including Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance, Paid Time Off, Paid Holidays, a 401k Match up to 4%, Loan Repayment options, a Flexible Spending Account and much more.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
- 2+ years management experience in a healthcare setting;
- Strong interpersonal skills; able to resolve people-related issues with diplomacy and tact;
- Communicates effectively using oral and business writing skills with all levels of staff;
- Must have professional demeanor.
PERFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Valid State of California Certificate of Registration as a Licensed Vocational Nurse; or Associates or Bachelor’s degree; or equivalent work experience in healthcare management
- Maintain current CPR Certification.
