The Parts and Inventory Coordinator is responsible for managing warehouse inventory, tracking and auditing stock levels, processing orders and warranty items, and ensuring efficient distribution of parts and materials. This role supports the warehouse and field teams by maintaining accurate inventory records, coordinating shipments and deliveries, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Inventory Management:
- Audit, track, and report inventory levels while making recommendations on stock replenishment.
- Ensure materials are returned and properly documented for the job in which they were ordered.
- Process and document warranty parts.
- Maintain an organized and accurate system.
Warehouse Operations:
- Assist with receiving, sorting, and storing parts and materials.
- Ensure warehouse cleanliness and regular maintenance of the facility and equipment.
- Inspect service/install trucks for efficiency and ensure field team has necessary materials and inspections.
- Support efficient warehouse operations by following company policies and protocols.
Shipping & Delivery Coordination:
- Communicate with other departments to ensure timely shipments and deliveries.
- Perform parts pick-up, delivery, and disposal as needed.
- Assist in verifying material lists for accuracy before dispatching installers.
Safety & Compliance:
- Monitor and report any safety-related issues to the General Manager.
- Ensure proper handling and disposal of hazardous materials.
General Responsibilities:
- Participate in company-sponsored training programs.
- Complete additional duties as assigned by the General Manager.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED preferred.
- Experience in inventory management or warehouse operations is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in using a computer tablet, smartphone, and GPS navigation.
- Exceptional communication and teamwork skills.
