The Sales Operations Manager will support the company by developing and improving processes, systems, policies, and procedures to help drive operational excellence throughout the sales and marketing organization. The mission of the sales operations role is to increase business insight and to reduce friction.
Essential Functions / Tasks / Duties / Responsibilities:
- Support the CRO and other team managers across the functional areas of Sales, Marketing, Account Management (SAM), Customer Success (CSM), and Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) which all currently report to the CRO.
- Provide reporting support for bookings results & conversion rates, pipeline volume & integrity, pricing & discounting practices, and lead generation volume & conversion rates.
- Streamline sales process and workflows by identifying areas where there we can improve efficiency (better means to document critical data accurately with checks and balances to move deals through sales stages to ensure accurate and reliable data
- Build/enhance and implement forecasting model for net new and upsell bookings using SFDC to incorporate predictive sales based on historical trends and pipeline accuracy
- Maintain regular reporting of Customer existing products and services in use along with whitespace for all products and services.
- Proactively analyze reporting of existing products and whitespace and provide insight to sales leadership on how to remove blockers where team is struggling as well as recommendations based on analysis of where there is opportunity for revenue growth
- Work closely with Finance to maintain reporting for Gross and Net Revenue Retention, as well as providing individual SAM and CSM monthly reports per individual
- Establish dashboards in SFDC for Gross and Net Retention to provide visibility to actuals vs forecast in real time
- Support the sales and marketing organization with design and updates to Excel, gSheets, and Salesforce dashboards as needed.
- Enhance and implement comparative reporting on individual sales performance using KPIs and data to establish a stack ranking and overall performance evaluation.
- Create, update, and maintain Sales & Marketing procedural and workflow documentation.
- Assist in design and maintenance of sales territory structuring and alignment as needed.
- Help build, maintain, and update price lists and discounting approval matrix.
- Work with CRO, finance, and sales leadership to develop annual compensation plans for sales org.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements/automation and work with senior management to implement.
- Observe, track, and implement dynamic reporting and dashboards in SFDC relating to sales activity as well as level of engagement with existing customers being able to delineate how frequently reps are (or are not) engaging to inform sales leadership implementing strategic outreach plans.
- Responsible for ad hoc sales reporting to various teams throughout the organization.
- Standardize reporting to sales management, exec team, and Board.
- Assist with Sales and Marketing analysis, calculations, and reporting.
Competencies:
- Very strong Salesforce user including creating and maintaining reports/dashboards, knowledge or workflows and rules engine, admin experience a plus
- Hubspot experience preferred (Marketing)
- Excellent Excel/ Google Sheet skills and competency
- Great interpersonal skills, including written and verbal communication
- Proven track record of managing deliverables for multiple parties to meet deadlines.
- Strong organizational and project management capabilities.
- Experience working for a technology company is preferred.

Education / Professional Certifications or Licenses Required:
- BA/BS in business, finance, or related field
Experience Requirements:
- Experienced Salesforce User, prior admin experience a plus
- Minimum of 3-5 years of sales operations management experience
- Experience working in a growth oriented Tech company

- There are no supervisory responsibilities in this position.

- This job operates in a professional home office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as laptop computers, smartphones, printers, and scanners.
- Minimal travel required for the position (5-15%)
