**This role is located in Louisville, Kentucky, and is a hybrid role with three days in office and two remote.**
Position Objective:
The Senior Corporate Human Resources Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of Human Resources within AAF International Americas, including strategic talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, training and development, legal compliance, and ensuring alignment with the organization's overall business objectives, via collaboration with the VP of HR and other organizational leaders to drive positive employee experiences and organizational growth.
Key Accountabilities:
- Develops and drives various Human Resources plans and procedures for all company personnel.
- In collaboration with the VP of HR and Senior Leaders, drives and controls all activities of the Human Resource department. Collaborates in the development of department goals, objectives, and systems.
- Leads the recruitment and hiring process for corporate and branch levels of employees, ensuring diversity and inclusion, utilizing effective sourcing strategies, and managing the onboarding experience. In concert with the Director, Total Rewards, reviews and refines job descriptions as necessary; analyzes compensation; monitors performance evaluation program and revises as necessary.
- Manages employee concerns, grievances, and conflicts, investigates and resolves issues in a timely manner, and promotes a positive work environment.
- Develops, recommends, and implements personnel policies and procedures; prepares and maintains handbook on policies and procedures; change reporting, approving invoices for payment, annual re-evaluation of policies for cost effectiveness, information activities program, and cash flow.
- Manages AAP process with 3rd Party consultants to develop and maintain Affirmative Action Program with oversight of all individual location creation and development, reviews AAP Plans; files EEO-1 and VETS-100 annually; maintains other records, reports, and logs to conform to EEO regulations.
- Participates in candidate evaluation of exempt and nonexempt personnel, students, and temporary employees; oversees new-employee orientations; monitors career-pathing program, employee relations counseling, outplacement counseling, and exit interviewing.
- Establishes and maintains department records and reports.
- Evaluates reports, decisions, and results of department in relation to established goals. Recommends new approaches, policies, and procedures to affect continual improvements in efficiency of department and services performed.
- Administers the company’s relocation, Expat, and immigration projects.
Supervision Exercised: this position manages Office Service professionals and remote, site-based HR professionals (4-6 individuals) and is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of these units. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Position Requirements:
- Four-year college degree or combination of college level education and prior strong HR leadership experience;
- Professional HR certification(s) preferred;
- 6-8 years' prior Human Resource experience in a supervisory role;
- Deep understanding of all aspects of HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, compensation, benefits, performance management;
- To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of MS Office; HRIS system – Paylocity, SAP/SuccessFactors;
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to align HR strategies with business objectives and anticipate future workforce needs;
- Leadership and Team Building: Proven ability to lead and motivate a diverse HR team;
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate with all levels of employees and stakeholders;
- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data and trends to make informed decisions regarding HR initiatives;
