Your Role
The role of Treasury Management (TM) Officer is to generate new deposits, associated fee income and source new cash management opportunities. The Treasury Management Officer will work with commercial banking officers to assist in cross-selling cash management services to their clients and provide client service to clients/prospects to ensure a thorough and timely service delivery process.
- Responsible for servicing and maintaining existing TM client base, expanding TM services with existing commercial client relationships, and executing a new business development plan to add commercial TM clients
- Drafts and develops marketing strategies for treasury management products, as well as product marketing plans (including short- and long-range profitability position strategies).
- Oversees treasury management product installation and implementation within the Bank and oversees the training of client representatives who would sell treasury management products to the general public.
- Research and report on competitors’ products and marketing schedules and analyzes strategies to recommend advantageous marketing positions for the financial institution.
- Reviews current products for future adjustments, improvements, expansions or elimination, depending on market strengths and weaknesses.
- Works with researchers to develop reports on related industry products, pricing and improvement strategies for current and future financial institution products.
- Remain compliant with bank guidelines, policies, procedures, regulatory and BSA requirements.
- Good communication skills, good computer skills, accuracy, flexibility, ability to handle high stress situations, regular and predictable attendance, exercise discretion and good judgment, follow instructions.

- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or equivalent professional experience.
- Solid background in and knowledge of financial institution policies and products.
- Minimum two years of financial institution experience.
- Good analytical, communication and sales skills.
