The Executive Chef leads our culinary program, delivering innovative, high-quality dining experiences that elevate wine pairings and reflect our commitment to sustainability. Reporting to the Estate Director, this role collaborates across departments to ensure seamless, world-class service.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Design and execute seasonal menus that complement our wines, emphasizing locally sourced, organic ingredients.
- Create immersive dining experiences that engage guests through artistry, flavor, and storytelling.
- Recruit, mentor, and inspire a high-performing culinary team.
- Manage budgets, food costs, and inventory while maintaining premium quality.
- Partner with ethical suppliers to champion farm-to-table dining and eco-conscious practices.
- Develop exclusive menus for winery events and private experiences.
- Ensure all kitchen operations meet the highest health, safety, and sanitation standards.
QUALIFICATIONS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to satisfactorily perform each essential duty. The requirements listed below represent the knowledge, skill, and ability required. - 3+ years as an Executive Chef in a luxury restaurant, resort, or winery.
- Culinary degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Expertise in wine and food pairings, fine dining, and sustainable cuisine.
- Strong financial acumen and experience managing costs.
- Proven leadership skills in a collaborative, high-performance environment.
- Passion for hospitality and exceptional guest experiences.
- Flexible schedule, including weekends and evenings.
- California Food Handler and Alcohol Server certifications (within 30 days).
- Must be at least 21 years old.
