As a Full-Service Escrow Officer at Sun Title, you'll be the superstar managing client relationships and coordinating every aspect of real estate transactions. You'll be the go-to person for brokers, real estate agents, builders, attorneys, lenders, and clients, ensuring smooth and successful escrow closings. Your mission? To exceed our customers' expectations and make every transaction exceptional!


What You'll Do!

  • Escrow Account Management:
    • Review purchase agreements and documents to ensure compliance.
    • Establish and maintain escrow accounts for residential and commercial transactions.
    • Prepare accurate escrow instructions and ensure compliance with regulations.
    • Collaborate with the disbursement team to process and disburse funds accurately.
  • Customer Service Excellence:
    • Provide exceptional service to buyers, sellers, lenders, and all parties involved.
    • Assist customers with online accounts and resolve complaints promptly.
  • Title Insurance Integration:
    • Review title commitments and collaborate with title professionals to address issues.
    • Order updates for title commitments, taxes, and pay-offs as needed.
  • Document Preparation:
    • Prepare settlement statements and closing documents.
    • Verify the accuracy of all escrow and loan documents.
    • Coordinate the transaction process with all parties involved.
  • Compliance and Accuracy:
    • Ensure adherence to state regulations and industry best practices.
    • Maintain meticulous records and filing systems.
  • Teamwork Makes the Dream Work:
    • Support the Branch Manager and other Escrow Officers across all Sun Title locations.
    • Participate in project teams to advance company initiatives.
    • Take on other duties as assigned.

  • Skills & Abilities: 
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills.
    • Proficiency in industry-specific software (ResWare, Proform Select) preferred.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook) required.
  • Education & Experience: 
    • High school diploma or GED required.
    • Advanced knowledge of real estate transactions and escrow services preferred.
    • Minimum of 2 years related industry experience preferred.
    • Valid Title Producer’s License and Notary Public License within 1 month of hire.
    • Driver’s license required.
