Job Description: 

We are searching for a talented technical manager to join our excellent team. The technical manager’s responsibilities include understanding project goals and developing plans and work schedules that will achieve them.  You will still be responsible for finding solutions to any technical problems that other employees come across in their work. You have strong troubleshooting skills and experience finding solutions to a range of technical problems and you will also be responsible for mitigating risk by implementing ‘safe’ procedures. You will also monitor and recruit new staff, review processes, write project reports, identify risks, and provide cost and time estimates. You should be able to work alongside different teams and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.  You should have the traits of confidence, experience taking charge of others, conviction, presentation skills and good interpersonal skills 

To be successful as a senior technical manager, you should demonstrate a sound understanding of your discipline and be open to collaborating with a wide range of professionals. Outstanding candidates are highly motivated, deadline-driven, and adaptable. 

Job Responsibilities: 

  • Understanding written and verbal project briefs, and working alongside team members to develop plans, work schedules, and targets. 
  • Analyzing operations and providing cost-effective suggestions for improvement. 
  • Streamlining processes so that the business operates at maximum efficiency. 
  • Assisting with training and recruitment of new staff members. 
  • Updating work schedules and adjusting targets as required. 
  • Addressing performance issues and scheduling meetings when required. 
  • Motivating and inspiring staff members when tight deadlines approach and morale or energy is low. 
  • Keeping up to date with advancements in the field. 
  • Writing up reports and presenting findings to the relevant parties. 
Requirements

Job Requirements: 

  • Bachelor's degree in software engineering, computer science, information systems, information technology, or similar. 
  • 5 years of experience in software development and team management. 
  • Master the Agile and Scrum development processes and have in-depth understanding of SDLC 
  • In-depth knowledge of programming languages such as JAVA, Python and JavaScript. Not exclusive of learning new programming languages. 
  • Master at least one front-end development framework such as React,Vue and Angular. 
  • Master the mainstream Java framework,especially Springboot and Spring Cloud. 
  • Experience in public cloud service, proficient in the use of AWS and GCP 
  • Proficient in SQL, proficient in using MySQL and other databases, and have certain SQL optimization capabilities; familiar with common NoSQL solutions such as Memcached, Redis, MongoDB, and understanding their advantages and disadvantages and usage scenarios is a plus 
  • Experience in infrastructure as code, familiar with at least one IaC , such as CloudFormation, terraform and pulumi 
  • Experience with user interface design, database structures, and statistical analyses. 
  • Extensive experience in developing, deploying, and integrating software solutions. 
  • Proficiency in documenting processes and monitoring performance metrics. 
  • Sensitive to data security, with experience in designing and developing complex trading systems. 
  • Knowledge of best practices related to data encryption and cybersecurity. 
  • Ability to mentor software engineers, as well as to collaborate with all stakeholders. 
  • Ability to keep up with software industry trends and innovation. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication. Good organizational skills.  
  • Analytical mindset and good problem-solving skills,attention to detail.
