Position Overview:
As a key member of the leadership team, the Human Resources Manager drives SafeHaven Security Group’s people strategy, ensuring alignment with the company’s mission and business objectives. This role provides strategic vision and hands-on leadership in shaping a high-performing, compliant, and engaged workforce. The HR Manager will architect talent strategies, foster a culture of continuous development, and implement HR initiatives that enhance organizational growth and resilience.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership & Workforce Planning
- Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, providing data-driven insights and innovative solutions to workforce challenges.
- Develop and implement comprehensive HR strategies that align with the company’s long-term business objectives.
- Lead cultural and change management initiatives to ensure a high performing, engaged workforce.
- Evaluate and optimize HR policies, practices, and processes to enhance employee experience and organizational effectiveness.
- Oversee HR budget, ensuring resources are allocated effectively for recruitment, retention, and employee programs.
Organizational Development & Culture
- Champion a people-first culture that promotes engagement and performance excellence.
- Lead change management efforts, fostering an agile and adaptable work environment.
- Drive continuous learning and professional development initiatives to enhance leadership capabilities across all levels.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, including EEOC, FLSA, FMLA, ADA, and other applicable regulations.
- Develop and oversee company policies, procedures, and best practices to minimize risk and maintain compliance.
- Lead internal HR investigations, conflict resolution, and employee relations matters at an executive level. Advise/ Train management on handling employee matters that meet legal, culture, and business requirements.
Operational Excellence & Compliance
- Ensure HR policies and practices remain compliant with all federal, state, and local employment laws while proactively mitigating risk.
- Leverage HR technology and analytics to streamline processes, enhance decision-making, and drive efficiency.
- Monitor industry trends, regulatory changes, and evolving workplace dynamics to keep the organization ahead of HR best practices.
Talent Acquisition & Performance Management
- Lead recruitment and workforce planning efforts, ensuring the company attracts and retains high-caliber talent.
- Oversee performance management frameworks that drive accountability, productivity, and professional growth.
- Implement innovative compensation, benefits, and recognition programs that reinforce SafeHaven’s position as an employer of choice.
- Design and implement talent management programs, ensuring a pipeline of skilled professionals to support business scalability.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive HR strategy that attracts, retains, and develops top talent while driving business performance.
HR Team Management, Compensation & Benefits Oversight
- Build and mentor a high-performing HR team, setting clear goals and fostering professional growth.
- Develop and manage the HR budget, allocating resources effectively to maximize business impact.
- Oversee compensation strategy and policies, ensuring competitive salary structures through market research and wage analysis and presenting policies to the executive team.
- Direct benefits administration, ensuring the organization offers attractive and compliant employee benefits packages.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Experience: Minimum of five years in HR leadership, with a proven track record in strategic planning and organizational development.
- Certifications: SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or equivalent HR certification preferred.
