Description

Basic Function 

We are seeking an energetic, seasoned sales executive who is responsible for increasing the school channel utilization of private loan programs in an assigned territory. 


As a Regional Manager, you will work closely with your school clients to build relationships and establish, maintain, and grow market presence. We are looking for a strong, creative, experienced team player to convey our message of empowering student financial success. Recognized as trusted advisors, our in-depth knowledge of the financial aid industry is what sets us apart. 


 Essential Job Functions 

  • Act as a relationship manager serving as the primary point of contact on existing accounts.
  • Utilize prospecting activities to gain new accounts
  • Development, implementation, and management of annual client relationship plans. 
  • Achieve volume goals as assigned by team leader.
  • Act as liaison with value chain members to ensure an excellent client experience.
  • Maintain CRM for activities and contacts.
  • Represent company at conferences, associations, special events, and/or panels and presentations. 
  • Team focused individual that listens to clients and can brings ideas for marketing, product, and servicing to enhance our offerings.

 Other Duties & Responsibilities

Requirements

Skills, Abilities & Competencies:

  • 4-6 years account management or sales experience required.   
  • Proven track record of effectively managing client accounts and/or client related projects. Must establish themselves as a trusted contact and advisor to clients; applies sophisticated needs analysis and client services tools to expand existing relationships.
  • Success in growing private loan volume in assigned territory.
  • Must possess excellent communication and presentation skills.  Communicates successfully both internally and externally.
  • Proven track record of  success in cultivating, maintaining, and servicing key client relationships.
  • Possess a high degree of professionalism and integrity.
  • Must be solutions oriented and capable of matching products with client needs.
  • Full understanding of all student loan products, electronic delivery solutions (ELM, ScholarNet, etc.), and loan life cycle
  • Proficient in CRM Software (HubSpot), Microsoft Office, and video conferencing applications.

Level of Education Required:

  • Undergraduate or graduate degree or commensurate business experience preferably in financial services sales/marketing.
